Georgio Trikkas is a fully licensed UEFA A, UEFA B, CSA National B, FIFA Grassroots soccer coach, with over 25 years of soccer experience. For the past 6 years he has been dedicated to coaching at the youth and senior levels. Georgio started coaching at the youth level with East York Soccer Club for 5 years. During that time Georgio’s teams had won over 20 championships which include several tournaments and the prestige’s Robbie International Cup. Using this experience he had coached at the senior level taking a team to a Chicago International tournament and winning the tournament beating out the 2010 Canadian National Champions. From there he took on the role of head coach with the mens provincial team, GS United. During his tenure with GS United he won, league championship, league cup championship, league playoff championship, and the Ontario-Quebec Cup. The team was also a finalist in the Ontario Cup. The team had set an Ontario Soccer League record with only one lost, and nine goals against all season. This amazing record earned Georgio the Provincial coach of the year award. Georgio has had experience in setting up and running his own Club, and was the Founder and President of Cherry Beach Soccer Club in Toronto. Georgio has played professional soccer as a goalkeeper in Greece, and is a certified OSA referee

Pedro Diaz (Sporting FC Technical Director)
A former professional soccer player and long-time coach, with 17 years’ experience playing in the Portuguese League for teams such as Sporting Clube de Portugal, Academica, and Clube Desportivo Nacional.Successful completion of several international coaching certificates, including ‘A’ and ‘B’ Licenses.Extensive soccer experience and demonstrated leadership skills. Connected to top European soccer clubs and highly proficient in their training methodologies. Expert in start-up ventures, having founded international soccer academies in both Canada and the United States.
Technical Staff Coach – James H. Landé
CSA National B License, UEFA B License
Coach James has more than 14 years of soccer experience. He has coached most age groups from U5 to Senior, both genders and both development and elite programs. He enjoys developing players using the four (4) pillars of the game which are physical, technical/tactical, psychological and social. Coach James can coach both in French and English languages and has coached in Ontario and Quebec. While living in Belgium for a few years, he earned a UEFA B license, coached at the Provincial level (U15, U21, Senior) and served as a Club Technical Director.
Coach James developed his passion for soccer later than most coaches as he comes from a multisport background. In addition to soccer, including Futsal at the elite level, he played numerous other sports at a high level: team sports such as basketball and American football; individual sports such as cross-country and track & field (100m, 200m specialist); and winter sports such as biathlon. As a soccer coach, one of his best moments was helping an elite U15 female team reached the semi-final of the U16 Quebec Cup competition. He was also named head coach of the U15 All-Star team in the same year. Coach James is a student of the game and is devoted to helping soccer players develop their talent and reach their full potential while having fun. He is eager to share his passion with Bradford Soccer Club Technical staff, coaches, players and parents. See you on the pitch!
Fitness Instructor – Anton Skerritt
Anton Skerritt B.B.A., B.Ed., M.B.A. (Candidate
Anton earned a soccer scholarship to Howard University in 1982 where he played NCAA Division 1 soccer for four years. While there he was discovered by and US National team track and field coach who encouraged him to pursue and track career and the rest is history. Anton went on to become a Division 1 All-American and one of the school’s first Olympians and represent his country of birth Trinidad and Tobago in the 1984 Olympic Games in the 400m where he was a semifinalist in the relay 4x400m. In 1986 Anton made the move to the Canadian National team at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland where he won Bronze Medal for Canada in the 4x400m relay. As the #1 ranked Canadian 400m sprinter Anton represented Canada in many international events around the world from 1986 to 1991 competing in the Commonwealth Games (1986 Edinburgh, Scotland and 1990 Auckland, New Zealand), Pan American Games (1991 Havana, Cuba), the Francophone Games (1989 Rabat, M
orocco) and the Olympic Games (1988 Seoul, South Korea). In Rome in 1987 at the World Championships, Anton set a personal best and Canadian record in the 400m semi-final of 45.62. Soon after his retirement from international track and field in 1992 to pursue a career in education Anton returned to his roots and played semi-pro soccer with a number of teams in the CPSL including St. Catherines Wolves, Toronto Italia, and Toronto Metro Lions. In 1994 Anton was selected to the CPSL All-Star Team and during that year travelled to Amsterdam, Holland on tour with with St. Catherines who won the CPSL League Cup. Since then Anton has competed at several Masters Ontario Cup finals winning the Cup in 2010 with GS United and going on to win the Eastern National Championships in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Anton is currently a teacher with the York Region District School Board where he is the Head of Business Studies. Anton’s has coached at the Milliken Mills High School where several of his athletes have earned scholarships to Canadian and US Colleges and Universities for Basketball, Soccer and Track and Field. Anton has led soccer camps for the Ontario Soccer Association and went on to form his own camp International Sports School bringing in professional players and coaches allowing hundreds of young players develop their talent and love for the game of soccer. Anton has worked with a variety of clients from individuals trying to achieve personal fitness goals to athletes with Olympic potential. His coaching history includes soccer clubs, running/marathon groups, private school track teams and even referees preparing for fitness testing to upgrade their certification. Having travelled the world competing in international athletics and playing soccer for many years Anton brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with the next generation of Olympians and sports professionals.
