Bradford S.C Academy program is for the elite players in the club.
The Academy culture is of learning and hard work with a desire to play for the Academy teams. We want players to be dedicated to Elite style of play. We want passion and pride for the Bradford S.C badge and players who play with honor and spirit that represents the whole club.
The Academy program was established in 2015 for the specific purpose of developing a competitive youth soccer player whose goals are to achieve state, regional, and national championship titles, as well as developing the players capable of receiving college scholarships, professional soccer opportunities based on their playing ability and academic achievement.
The Academy curriculum is as follows:
- Motor skills
- Dribbling, 1v1 2v1 2v2
- Turning
- Receiving and turning
- Shooting
- Passing (short, long, chip, driven)
- Ball control/first touch
- Possession
- Player through the thirds
- Combination play
- Movement on and off the ball
- Finishing
- 1v1, 2v2 defending
- Compact defending
